CPU stands for Central Processing Unit is a computer hardware whose function is toreceive and execute commands and data from the software. Processors are oftenused to refer to the CPU in general. The microprocessor is the CPU that is producedin integrated circuits, often within a single integrated circuit package. Since the mid-1970s, a single-microprocessor integrated circuits have been in common use andbecome an important aspect in the implementation of the CPU.
